The teachers are brilliant at incorporating learning and skills into creative, fun tasks for the kids. My 3-4 year old attended this year, and has learned and grown so much. His favorite activities included climbing trees, playing in the mud, art class, building with legos, and finding bugs. I have noticed more independence with everyday activities, an improved vocabulary, letter recognition and pen/pencil control, an active interest in all things science, and a helper for the garden. I can’t recommend the nature school enough- it’s truly a gem and a magical place. We joined in January after an unfortunate incident at a previous school and our children just needed to build confidence, play and feel loved and supported. “Our daughter has been attending Nature School for a year now, and during the first 2 weeks, upon pick up she’d tell me ‘mommy, I love my new school’. “We are with Nature School of Fairview from the first day of their opening and we are still impressed about this place.Firstly I like their teaching philosophy, which is a combination between Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio theory. I know that teachers listen to them, validate their emotion and take care of their well being which is so different than other schools. They are doing various activities over the day like baking, dancing, science experiments and outdoor play.
