Nature School of Fairview Summer Camp offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as nature exploration, water slides, magic shows, dinosaurs and so much more! Each week features a new theme with activities designed to nurture imagination, creativity, critical thinking skills, team building skills, and curiosity.

Fresh hand-cut fruit is prepared daily for snack.

Summer Camp 2024 Schedule:

Week 1: June 3rd - 7th

🏴‍☠️Theme: Pirates, Princesses & Treasure Hunters 🏴‍☠️

The Treasure Hunt Camp is an exciting and educational summer program designed for children aged 3 to 9.

Campers embark on thrilling adventures as they become explorers, navigating through creative challenges, crafting treasure maps, searching for hidden treasures in nature, and uncovering the mysteries of the great outdoors. This camp fosters curiosity, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for both the environment and imaginative play, making it an unforgettable summer experience for young adventurers.

Week 2: June 10th - 14th

🧬Theme: Science Explorers🧬

The Science Explorer Summer Camp for 3 to 9-year-olds is a great opportunity for young children to engage with science in a fun and educational way. It is designed to introduce kids to various scientific concepts through hands-on activities, simple chemistry experiments, outdoor adventures, and interactive learning experiences.

Week 3: June 17th -21st

🦖Theme: Dinosaurs🦖

The Dinosaurs and Texas Raptors Camp is an exciting and educational summer program designed for children aged 3 to 9. Set in the diverse backdrop of Texas, this camp combines hands-on activities and learning experiences focused on the fascinating world of dinosaurs and the majestic birds of prey known as raptors. The camp features interactive dinosaur fossil digs, arts and crafts, storytelling about prehistoric times, and educational workshops led by experts. This camp aims to ignite young imaginations and foster a lifelong appreciation for nature and science.

Week 4: June 24h - 28th

🎨Theme: Little Artiste🖌️

"The Little Artiste" is an inspiring visual arts camp designed for children aged 3 to 9, where young creative minds explore the world of art through hands-on activities inspired by renowned painters and sculptors. In this immersive and engaging environment, children will have the opportunity to unleash their artistic potential by experimenting with various mediums, techniques, and artistic styles, all while gaining a deeper appreciation for art history. Through painting, sculpture, and mixed media projects, campers will embark on a journey of self-expression, creativity, and artistic discovery, fostering a lifelong love for the arts.

"Welcome to our Texas Wildlife Adventure Summer Camp! Join us for an unforgettable journey as we immerse children aged 3 to 9 in the fascinating world of Texas wildlife. Throughout the week, campers will explore the natural beauty of our state through daily nature walks, scavenger hunts, and captivating wildlife stories. With hands-on activities such as crafting birdhouses and nature journals and outdoor adventures, our camp is designed to ignite a lifelong love for nature and conservation in young hearts. Join us as we embark on a five-day journey of discovery, curiosity, and fun, connecting children with the wonders of Texas wildlife and the importance of preserving our natural treasures."

Week 6: July 15th - 19th

🪨Theme: Under Your Feet🔍

Exploring Earth: A Geological Adventure summer camp is a captivating journey for children to discover the marvels beneath their feet. This camp blends the wonders of Texas geology with broader earth sciences, offering activities like rock and fossil exploration, soil science investigations, and interactive earth science experiments. Children will engage in archaeological simulations, understand the relationship between geology and ecosystems on nature walks, and listen to enthralling stories about Earth's formation. Week 7: July 22nd - 26th

Each day unfolds a new theme, from exploring the colorful life cycle of butterflies to the fascinating world of bees and the mysterious nocturnal life of bats. FAQs:

How can we Enroll?

Summer Camp 2024 enrollment will open on February 1st! You can enroll your child by clicking the button: CLICK TO ENROLL Ages 3-9

What should we bring?

Please make sure your child brings a lunch, extra clothes (at least two pairs, including socks and underwear), rain boots, a backpack, sunscreen, and bug spray. All are properly labeled with your child’s name.

NOTE: We respectfully ask that all children are fully potty trained.

Are payments refundable?

Payment is due at the time of enrollment and is not refundable. When you enroll your child for a week’s camp, the spot is taken away from another child. Please ensure on your calendar that all dates work for you before you book.

Is there a deposit or payment in full?

There is no deposit and customers are expected to pay in full at the time of booking to secure the spot.

What should I pack for lunch?

Please pack nutritious lunches, and avoid adding candy, nuts, and sodas. If you pack a hot lunch make sure to heat and place in a thermos before class.

Do we have to book the whole summer?

No, you may book classes weekly, monthly, or for the entire summer.

Where do the classes take place?

Classes will be held on location both outdoors and indoors, depending on the weather and activities that day. At Nature School we enjoy playing outdoors in the rain and mud, so please make sure to pack extra clothes and rain boots.
